dc.description.abstract | Este artículo se deriva de los resultados de la investigación realizada con el objetivo de analizar las relaciones entre la comprensión lectora de estudiantes del programa de enfermería de la Corporación Universitaria Adventista y el contexto de sociocultural de ruralidad del que provienen. dc.description.abstractenglish | This article is part of the investigation “The reading comprehension of undergraduate students from Colombian rural areas”. In this text a reflection is made regarding rurality as a context with its particularities, which have effects on the integral human development and the “shaping” from the experiences of its inhabitants, analyzing beforehand the relation of rurality with socio- cultural deprivation and vulnerability.It is based on the characterization of the rural context in Colombia, the changes that have emerged over time that brought the concept of new rurality, up to its re-figuration in the framework of the current scenarios, where the ground calls for participative reflections to rethink education in every context. | eng |
