| spa |

dc.description.abstractenglish | Colombia has been a country stained with the blood of its own inhabitants throughout its bloody history. A history of pain and submission that dates from times of conquest where the mind of the population was colonized according to Eurocentric needs was accompanied by a passive and submissive complicity of the colonized; an "independence" that aroused the most barbarous side of its forces against the injustices of its conquerors and the church; a future not very prosperous as a consequence of the political divisions and civil wars that would take place in the new independent Colombia by those political parties that were germinated at this time and whose actions would allow them to share in the absolute control of the territory for more than 150 years. | eng |
