Esta investigación de corte cualitativo, presenta un análisis acerca de las representaciones sociales de madres de niños en condición de discapacidad, que permiten determinar si existen dificultades para consolidar procesos de organización y de empoderamiento de actores locales. Además se evidencian las representaciones sociales de las madres sobre sus hijos como agentes movilizadores en procesos de participación.
This research, with a qualitative approach, presents an analysis about the social representations of mothers of handicap children. This situation opens the possibility to determine whether there are difficulties in order to consolidate process of organization and empowerment of local actors. It also shows the mothers’ social representations about their children taken them as an agent that start participation process.
