El propósito central de este artículo es dar cuenta de la investigación sobre la sistematización de la experiencia de la Fundación ITEDRIS (Investigación, Tecnología y Educación para el Desarrollo Regional, Integral y Sostenible), en sus 10 años de trabajo, en el campo de la educación de jóvenes y adultos en el Departamento de Boyacá. Se pretenden identificar los aprendizajes que han llevado a ITEDRIS a consolidarse como una propuesta de Educación Popular, desde la reconstrucción colectiva de su historia, y el trabajo académico y productivo, con el fin de formular estrategias pedagógicas acordes a las necesidades y expectativas de jóvenes y adultos que desean mejorar su calidad de vida a través de la educación.
The purpose of this paper is to give an account of a systematic research of ITEDRIS Foundation (Research, Technology and Education for Regional, Integral and Sustainable Development); considering its 10 years of work in the field of youth and adult education in Boyacá (Colombia). The aim of this text is to identify the lessons that have been consolidated in the proposal of popular education. This is done considering the collective reconstruction of ITEDRIS’ history, its academic and productive work, in order to develop teaching strategies that meet the need and expectations of young people and adults, whom are wishing to improve their quality life through education.
